Efficiency, insulation and total control in a home in Daganzo de Arriba
This is a comprehensive intervention in which all existing enclosures were replaced with modern, high-performance systems in PVC Kömmerling, incorporating solar control solutions, double-glazed windows with argon gas, and motorized blinds. The objective was clear: to improve interior comfort and reduce energy consumption without altering the exterior aesthetics of the home.
As is common in many homes in the area, the existing windows no longer provided adequate insulation. Heat was lost during the winter, and in the summer, excessive solar radiation raised the interior temperature, necessitating increased use of air conditioning.
Furthermore, the house had different types of openings in the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and attic, requiring a technical solution that was adaptable yet uniform in design. The client sought to improve energy efficiency, eliminate drafts, and modernize the entire window system with a durable and reliable solution.
Afandecor proposed a complete renovation of all the windows in the house, adapting the configuration to each room.
It was installed Kömmerling 76 MD system, A 76 mm profile with 6 internal chambers guarantees excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. This solution improves energy efficiency and maintains a more stable indoor temperature year-round.
The windows were manufactured with a white interior finish and a silver-gray exterior finish, achieving an elegant integration with the brick facade and providing aesthetic uniformity to the entire house.
In the living room, a tilt-and-slide window with a motorized blind was installed, providing greater comfort and ease of use on a daily basis.
