Afandecor Group was present as an exhibitor at the most relevant efficient construction fair at the national level: Edifica 2021. This year's edition, organized again by the Passivhaus Consortium, has attracted more than 11,000 visitors, a resounding success that demonstrates the interest that conscious construction and energy efficiency are generating in the business world and in society as a whole. Pamplona became, for three days, the epicenter of sustainability in our sector.
The Afandecor stand, which was attended by hundreds of visitors and companies, represented a presentation of the Group as a comprehensive solution to achieve maximum energy efficiency. On the one hand, the manufacture and installation of aluminum and PVC windows and enclosures will play a fundamental role in the energy rehabilitation process that Spain will undertake in the next five years. Some high-performance profiles; But, especially, qualified professionals for its manufacture and assembly are key to achieving correct airtightness inside a home.
In addition, Afandecor Energía accompanies clients throughout the entire process of installing photovoltaic panels for self-consumption, both at an industrial and domestic level. This commitment to renewable energies will mark the future in the face of the inevitable depletion of energy sources of fossil origin. Our technical department attended various presentations at Edifica to continue its training in the integration of renewable energies.
Finally, Afandecor Group also has a section dedicated to efficient construction, focused on the energy rehabilitation of buildings by acting on the exterior envelope and air conditioning systems.
As a whole, Edifica was the main forum for debate, reflection and discussion on the future of the sector. In addition to Afandecor, another 50 leading companies in their respective fields of activity exhibited their newest products and services.
